Origin & Scope

The IRDF was not created by any single culture or intelligence—it emerged from convergence. When early realm-capable entities realized the nature of causal contamination through uncontrolled travel and interdimensional aggression, the IRDF was born out of mutual preservation.

Its history spans quadrillions of Uy—one Uy being the average age of all non-finite universes. The IRDF’s operations span billions of realms, hundreds of billions of stations, and an uncountable number of reality strata. It has gone dormant and reactivated countless times but never ceased to exist.

Threat Classification

All incursions, anomalies, and hostile entities are assigned a classification from G to Z:

• G–C: Localized or realm-contained threats.
• B–A: Multirealm or locality-wide disruption risks.
• S-Class: Existential danger to all known localities.
• Z-Class: Threats that could unravel the structure of realmspace itself.

Each engagement also carries a Propagation Risk Factor (RF) from 0 to 9+, reflecting likelihood of spread, complexity of elimination, and risk of memetic or recursive contamination.

Operational Zoning

Deployment locations are assigned zones based on safety, dimensional compatibility, and long-term viability:

• Zone 1: Interior realms, stable and cooperative.
• Zone 2: Moderately unstable or developing, limited access.
• Zone 3: High-risk, high-threat active combat or collapse areas.
• Border Zone: Dimensional edges, null territories, and hostile metaphysical terrain.

Structure & Intelligence Hierarchy

Though decentralized, the IRDF is coordinated through a mesh of command nodes, intelligence clusters, and recursive decision loops. Its decision-making hierarchy includes:

• Superintelligences (SIs): Ancient, often non-local beings that guide macrostrategy.
• Intelligence Clusters (ICs): Semi-autonomous computational constructs interpreting SI guidance for localized conditions.
• Field Commands: Coordinated agents, AI-personalities, or split-consciousness actors deployed into active zones.

Forms of Deployment

IRDF agents may operate in many forms depending on the target locality’s dimensionality, causality, and ethical condition. These include:

• Digitization
• Cloning
• Restructuring (personality recomposition)
• Multi-body Deployment
• Hive Mind Integration
• Species Reformatting for biological compatibility

Agents may serve in either present (physical) or remote (networked/abstract) roles depending on assignment and clearance.

Onboarding & Ethical Filtering

All new agents undergo an Onboarding Evaluation that includes identity integrity testing, trauma/strain tolerance, purpose alignment, and optional enhancement tier selection. While restructuring is available, consent is prioritized unless the threat level overrides it.

All IRDF decisions operate under the oversight of the Transdimensional Ethics Network, a meta-intelligence protocol cluster that ensures no entity is coerced or modified in violation of broader ethical equilibria.

Station Deployment

Stations are scattered across countless realms. Some are embedded. Some orbitally phased. Many remain dormant for quadrillions of years, awaiting triggers. Others are used for training, redundancy, or fail-safe rerouting. No station is meaningless, even if forgotten.
